Obituary:
Charlotte Lading Lee (Lugrand) age 60 passed away at her home in Emporia, Kansas, January 21, 2012. She was born September 5, 1951 in Wichita, Kansas to Jacqueline Elaine Austin and William Lugrand.
Charlotte has lived in Emporia since 1977. She was a member of Life Church in Emporia, Kansas. Charlotte sat on the Board of Directors for Kansas Legal Services, volunteered for Horizon Plaza, producing their newsletter and was the Missionette Director and Teacher at Life Church for many years. She was preceded in death by her mother Jacqueline Lugrand, father William Lugrand and sister Ginger Lee. Survivors include brothers Marcus Lugand, Norman, OK; Kent Lugrand, Frisco, Texas; Michael Lugrand, West Palm Beach; Florida, Gregory Lugrand, Wichita, KS; Paul Lugrand, Eureka, KS. Sisters Jackie Lugrand, Wichita, KS, Laquita Lugrand, Wichita, KS and Kaye Newsome, Lee Summit, MO
Memorial service will be 11:00 am Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Life Church 1801 Graphic Arts Road, Emporia, Kansas with Pastor Tony Lantz, Pastor Reg Larson and Pastor Paul Knight officiating.
Interment will be at Maplewood Memorial Lawn Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to Life Church Mega Kids sent in care of Charter Funerals, 501 W. 6th Avenue Emporia, Kansas 66801
