Obituary:
Edith Anne ( Myers) Mattivi Edie passed away on December 22, 2011. Born on February 13, 1940 she was a lifelong resident of the Kansas City Area. She was preceded in death by her parents Turah Margaret and Ralph Steele Myers and former husband Jerry Mattivi. Edie leaves behind three children, Tracie (Tim)Thomas of Leawood, Shelley (Vince) Palmarine of Liberty and Kara (Dierk) Hatcher of Watkinsville, GA , seven grandchildren, and a brother, Rich (Sandy) Myers of Surprise, AZ. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Andrews Catholic Church, Gladstone, MO on January 4, 2012 at 1pm. Internment at Christ Church Anglican Disciples Garden 91st and Nall, Overland Park, KS at 2:30pm. A reception to follow in Christ Church's fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts; 1601 Broadway Kansas City, MO 64108.
