Douglas Alvin Bessenbacher was born March 18th, 1944 in Compton, California to John and Evelene Bessenbacher.

Douglas served in the United States Army from December 31st, 1964 to September 1st, 1968. After serving in the military he graduated from UMKC with a Bachelor in Science, and from Penn Valley with an Associates in Business.

Douglas is survived by his wife Lisa of 42 years; sons Jason Bessenbacher, and Daniel Bessenbacher (Mercy); brother Charles Bessenbacher; and 10 grandchildren.

    Doug was always a warm and loving uncle. He was a hard working man and built such a beautiful family. I am so happy that I was a part of his life. He will be missed greatly.
