On Friday, January 4, 2019, Carol Campbell passed gently and peacefully from death to life, in the prayers and company of her family.

She was born Elizabeth Carol Foley on December 17, 1931 to Gracy (Quinn) and John Foley. Carol grew up in Kansas City, KS, and was a graduate of Bishop Ward High School. She retired from the US Department of the Treasury.

Carol's devotion to family was evidenced throughout her life by her constant and continued gifts of love, time and energy. She shared a passion for music and dancing with her late husband, Glen. Her sense of humor and generosity will be tenderly missed by all who knew her.

Carol is survived by her children: Bernadette (Ed) Garven, Kansas City, KS; Jon Martinac, Kansas City, KS; Jay Martinac, Gardner, KS; Jennifer (Kenneth) Brancaccio, Lawrence, KS; 19 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; sisters, Rosemary (Gene) Zupanec, Raytown, MO, and Colleen Brull, Shawnee, KS.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Glen Campbell; daughter, Glenda Jo Campbell; and sister, Jacqueline Boyle.

A Memorial Mass will be 10:30am Saturday, February 2, 2019, at St Peter’s Cathedral, 416 N 15th St, KCK, followed by inurnment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Kansas City Hospice House or St Peter’s Cathedral.
