Agnes was born Jan. 17, 1934, in Atchison, KS, the third of 13 children of Frank and Agnes (Kopp) Robertson. She grew up in Oskaloosa, KS and graduated from Easton High School in 1953. Her first love was Jesus Christ and she always tried to live up to his expectations.

While working at the phone company, she met William "Bill" Trowbridge, and were married May 26,1955, in Leavenworth. Bill joined the Air Force and they were sent to Biloxi, MS for three months. His next tour of duty was at Great Falls, MT, where they spent four years and had three children. After Bill was discharged in 1959, the family moved to Leavenworth and Agnes had a set of twins. She started work at Hallmark Cards in 1960 and had her sixth child.

Agnes went to work at Fort Leavenworth in 1966 and after 32 years of service, she retired May 1, 1996.

Agnes always went above and beyond to help others and spread her love. She was a member of NARFE, AARP, NCPSSM, The Seniors Coalition and two bowling leagues, Door Doctor women's league and Ace Taxi Service mixed league. She enjoyed fishing, boating, camping, bowling and knitting.

Bill preceded her in death on April 16, 1996. Also preceding her: a son, Edward E. Trowbridge; a granddaughter; a great-granddaughter; a sister, Beatrice Lupton; and five brothers, Frank, Leland, Orville, Cecil and Clarence.

Survivors include two sons, William W. Trowbridge, (Bobbie) of La Cygne, and Lonnie L. Trowbridge (Cathy) of Lansing; and three daughters, Karen K. Puckett of Lansing, Connie C.
