Retha Marie Wiley, 70, went to be with our Lord and Savior on February 6, 2019 at her home. Retha was born in Burlington, Ks to Paul and Ella Fern Wiley. She was the oldest of three children. She was raised around the Gridley area until she moved to Hutchinson, Ks to attend college at Salt City Community College. She graduated and moved to Emporia to began working at Dolly Madison, where she retired after working for 27 years. She is survived by her 2 daughters Shawna Walker and Lori Alcaraz, both of Emporia, A brother Jerry (Mary Ann) Wiley of Emporia, her sister Shelda (Leslie) Wilhite of Yates Center, a granddaughter Stephany Hale of Oklahoma, as well as several adopted children and grandchildren. She is proceeded in death by her parents.

Retha enjoyed visiting zoos, reading, and spending time with her family. No services are planned. There will be a memorial lunch March 9, 2019 at 11am at Olpe Chicken House.

    So very sorry. The Lord wanted her to be with her mom and dad and he also wanted to end her pain so he offered his hand and she took it willingly. She is at peace no.Aunt Lola
