He was my dad Bobby Butlers best friend I grew listening to them talk horses at the race track before
they became partners on some horses. Alton helped me get my pony license and my exercise license.
He was also always there to tell Dad to stop working me so hard lol. He will be missed.

My parents were good friends with Alton. I grew up with his daughter. Alton was one of a kind. He LOVED horses and always had a way to make people laugh. Alton was one of a kind and was a great friend and mentor to many. He will truly be missed. GOD speed Alton and may you and Bruce have many conversations in heaven my friend.

I met Alton right after I graduated from high school and we have remained friends for all those years.
He was probably my best friend through the years. I helped him start some horses when he was at
the track in Eureka and I got my license to pony and enjoyed working with him. In all those years I
never had an argument with him. He was probably the most laid back guy I have ever been around
and he was joking with me just shortly before his passing.

I've known him forever (since childhood). I raced horses with him,
partnered with him and always enjoyed his company. He certainly
will be missed. RIP old friend.
