Obituary

Linda Sue Hoisington of Emporia, entered into rest Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at her home. She was 53.

Linda was born Saturday, July 30, 1966 in Wichita, Kansas to Charley LeRoy and Ruth Maxine (Fillpot) Hoisington. Some of her hobbies were fishing, swimming, camping and playing on her phone. Linda was family oriented and her kids were her pride and joy. She loved to travel. Linda loved giving hard times to her loved ones and was a caring and giving woman.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Charley and Ruth Hoisington; and sister, Joyce Hoisington. She is survived by her son, Bobby “BJ" Flores, Jr. and wife Nicole Clarke; daughter, Patricia “Patty” Cole and fiancé Alex Pruno; brothers, David and wife Belinda Carter, Mike and wife Taylor Ludlam, and Rocky Hoisington and girlfriend JoAnne Pilant; sisters, Mary Beth Hall, and Manita and husband Robert Schumacher; granddaughter, Kasidy Jean Flores; and many nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place. A Memorial service will be officiated by Bishop Joseph Laudie at 5:00 p.m., Saturday, October 19, 2019 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2313 Graphic Arts Rd, Emporia, KS. Memorial contributions may be made to Charter Funerals to assist the family with arrangements.

    She was amazing women she was funny, smart, loving and great women to hang around. I didn't get to know her long enough to see her other traits. I already though of her as family and I will miss her very much. She was wonderful mother not only to her children but she treated me same as if I was one of her own. I will never forget you you will always be in my heart and in my prayers.

    Your smile was brightening to anyone's day and always cheerful!
    I'll always miss the hours we spent playing cards and thrift store
    shopping, and your love of playing banana boat haha. You're no longer
    suffering and are resting in paradise by loved ones who've gone before

    I remember Linda as the funny woman was. I remember when she
    married her first husband and laughed all the was threw the
    ceremony. You will be missed Linda by so many people. I love you
