Paul Ferrell As Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Charter Funerals, Paul is extremely knowledgeable in death care financial matters. His expertise and keen attention to detail help him stay abreast of changes in the industry and monitor overhead to keep costs low, in line with a value priced commitment.

Founding FCA with his partners, Paul oversaw the financial well being of the sizeable organization. Today, he continues working closely with Charter's systems development team to ensure financial reporting integrity. Under Paul's direction, they are able to complete new systems, bringing them on line for improved efficiency and a greater ability to compete in the marketplace.

Paul set out in 1973 as an accountant for a Big Eight accounting firm after earning a B.S. in Business and Accounting from Central Missouri State University. In 1980, he entered the death care industry by joining a large full service firm that operated 28 funeral homes and 12 cemeteries. He supervised all accounting functions for the at-need, pre-need, vault and limousine companies. In addition, he was involved in the acquisition of new properties and the day-to-day contact with investment managers who handled millions of dollars in trust funds.

His prior experience and understanding of accounting procedures has been invaluable to Charter Funerals recent growth and expansion.
